Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at office@ngcohio.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Click on the "interested in scheduling tab" to complete. Please note that completing this form does NOT guarantee an appointment. Please be on the lookout for an email from office@ngcohio.com within three business days.

Once scheduled you will be invited via email to set up your client profile in Therapy Appointment. We ask that you complete the portal three business days prior to your appointment. If you need a new link please contact Aimee at office@ngcohio.com.

Each of our clinicians are independently paneled with different providers. We ask each client to confirm that the clinician they are scheduled with is in network for their policy.

If your therapist is not in network, but your policy has out of network benefits, we can prepare a super bill to submit for reimbursement.

Please reach out to us for self-pay rates. We also accept HSA/FSA, cash, check, and credit card.

Yes. You are welcome to pay copays via check or cash. Those are due at the time of your appointment, no exceptions. A credit card is required to be linked securely in your client portal for no show or late cancellation fees.

Please check with your insurance company as NOT all of our clinicians accept EAP (Employee Assistance Program). EAP's must be set up prior to your first appointment with your insurance provider. Please indicate in "interested in scheduling" if you wish to use EAP.

These professionals all support mental health, their training and roles differ:

• Psychiatrists are medical doctors (MD or DO) who specialize in treating disorders in the brain. They often prescribe medication as a component of treatment and many are also trained in psychotherapy.

• Psychologists have a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) and specialize in assessment, diagnosis, and therapy.

• Therapists and Counselors often have a master’s degree and provide talk therapy.

• Social Workers help individuals connect to community support services and may provide therapy.

At this time we have Counselors and Social workers available for services.

We do NOT prescribe medications, ADHD testing, or court related services (custody).
